The breakdown of any relationship is often very difficult and painful for those involved. We realise that other family members may be affected by divorce within their extended families. For example, grandparents may need help to re-establish contact with their grandchildren.

We advise clients on all areas of Matrimonial & Family law and we also advise unmarried clients, including same sex couples, whose personal relationships have broken down and where there may be custody and access arrangements to be ironed out, or property and other financial issues to resolve.

Not only can divorce be emotionally traumatic, but against this background, you have to make decisions that may affect the rest of your life.

Knowing this, our family lawyers work closely with other lawyers across the firm to resolve the financial implications of your changed situation and we sensitively balance a conciliatory approach with a resolute strategy to establish a fair outcome. Even if your affairs are complex, for example, if you and your partner are both involved in the same family company, we can, if necessary, draw on the expertise of other members of our firm.

Our nationally recognised Family Team is experienced in dealing with the all aspects of family problems and in handling the consequences of such breakdowns in a sensitive, constructive manner. All team members offer in-depth experience of dealing with all matters arising from relationship breakdowns. Our lawyers, most of whom are members of the Law Society Family & Children Panels are accredited members of the Solicitors Family Law Association and some are also trained family mediators.

We guarantee absolute discretion throughout, to protect our client's privacy, dignity and the interests of their children.
